Own the Viper!

OPTION SEED!

Over the years, some of you have said, “Brian, we love the games you review, but we can never find them, and even if we do, they are insanley expensive”. Yes my child, I have heard your cries, and now I answer those hunger pains. Suckle on the sweet nurturing teet of Gradius 5.

As announced in episode six of ‘Substance TV’, I will be giving away a complete copy of the game, including shipping, for free. What do you have to do, it’s simple. Just register her at www.substance-tv.com and you will be automatically entered into the contest. You’ll see the link at the top left of the website on the sidebar. There’s no gimmicks or hooks. You won’t be on some Russian goat porn e-mail list, unless you’d like to be. Just a good old fashioned contest.

I’ll announce a winner in episode seven. If you’re already registered for the site, well, then you are already good to go. Thanks for all your support and look forward to episode seven in the weeks to come.

    @ZaxCG2:
    Oh yes, Gradius V is a game of awesomeness and goodness. Glad you got a chance to check it out because it’s a sorely passed over title.

    @megamanfan1500:
    Word and word.

    @ Brian:
    Well, glad to hear it. It really is a great game that not a lot of people have heard of. Where else can you find Arthur from Ghouls and Ghost, Mega Man, as well as Charlie and Cammy from Street Fighter all in the same game? NOWHERE, THAT’S WHERE!!

  3. ZaxCG2 says:

    Well great marketing there man. I watch one episode and now I’m hooked… plus you got me registered on the site because of oh-so ridiculously awesome Gradius V. Glad to hear it was one of the greatest games for PS2, because… well… I just got one and am looking for some games (other than the Metal Gear series).

    Keep up the good work!

    Can we have a prize for the man in front. You are on a roll my friend. Yes, I can tell you that Cannon Spike has already been slated for a future episode of Substance TV (although not for the seventh episode).

  5. megamanfan1500 says:

    Sweet! I’m hoping one of the games will be “Cannon Spike” for the Sega Dreamcast. In my opinion, it was criminally overlooked by most people, although that could have been due to the difficulty more than anything else:)

  6. Brian says:

    Yes indeed we do know the games being reviewed for the next episode. I could tell you, but then what would be the fun in that? But, since you have the surname of Mega Man, I can say that two of the games being reviewed are developed by Capcom. The full list of games to be reviewed will be released next week.

  7. megamanfan1500 says:

    What do you mean it could? IT WILL!!!!! By the way, do you have any idea what games will be on ep. 7? Personally, I’d love to see The King of Fighters XI.

  8. Brian says:

    Episode 7 will change the very way you view life and the universe around you. What? It could. I mean not literally, but figuratively. :-)

    Awesome, can’t wait for episode 7!
