New Tri-Ace RPG: End of Eternity

I’ve always been a fan of the Valkyrie Profile series. So it would only make sense that developer Tri-Ace would be amazing at making other games right? Wrong. If you’ve played Infinite Undiscovery for the Xbox 360, you’ll know what I’m talking about. It’s not terrible by any means, but it’s not great. Regardless, I am interested to hear they are developing another RPG for the 360 called End of Eternity (Resonace of Fate). Published by Sega, the game uses a tri-attack-battle system. Few details have been released over at The Magic Box, but what I see looks interesting.

The game will be released in January 2010 in Japan with an eventual North American release. Here’s hoping they learn from their mistakes and make an amazing game.

How is Valkyrie Profile? The first game costs WAAAAY too much money for me to afford, don’t have a PSP, and the sequels are supposedly inferior (and even if they weren’t, I’d like to start an RPG series with the first game). The only Tri Ace game I’ve played is Star Ocean 3, and only for a little bit, but it was fun IMO….Maybe I should get Radiata Stories.

PS I’ll have to keep tabs on this game. Looks interesting.

Thanks for the information. I had no idea they were coming out with a demo. I look forward to checking it out.

The demo for EoE is coming out on 12/22 on both PSN and XBL, although I’m not sure if it will be in English.
