"being a man" for me was when i back in the day (dont remember exactly what video game magazine was probably gamepro) they had an article for best achievements, best finishing times for games, best laps...etc) i remember this guy for many months had the best time 1hour 30mins or so for finishing Resident evil 2 Leons scenario A. i remember i was playing that game for many weeks, finishing it many times. at least 5-6 each scenario and each character (claire and leon) and i got 1hour 20 something minutes. i beat the guy. but i could never prove it to the magazine only my friends, because back then you had to plug urs psone to a vcr and record the time and then sent it my mail.... i was only 13,14 or 15 (the no internet era)

Hey there deathsceane from youtube highering my chances to win. The closest thing I have to a "being the man" moment was when I was beating everybody at Fatal Fury 2 on the Sega Genesis. I kept winning up to the point where I was forbidden to pick Billy Kane and Big Bear (especialy Billy) just to give everyone a chance to win. Then we moved on to a basketball game which is not my forte, but by the powers that be I was making shots and winning the whole game. The only other thing I can come up with is beating Thunder Force II. I have no idea how to beat the last guy so I just dive in there and shoot for all I'm worth with a many lives saved up after so much repitition.

When you said "love", I thought you were going to give away Power Stone. :)

Easily the most obvious moment for me is beating Dracula in Super Castlevania IV for the SNES. Yeah, you heard me right. Not Castlevania I (quite a bit easier than in IV). Not III (haven't beaten III). IV. This was easily the hardest boss fight I've EVER beaten in a video game. His patterns are so hard to predict, moevements so varied, and just an overall bitchy boss fight to try and beat. I was so happy when I finished that bastard off.

A recent 'man' moment was hauling ass through MGS4 on The Boss Extreme difficulty. Relatively impressive, but I did it in under four hours, which I didn't expect to happen. I thought I had taken too long through Act 3 and with the fight against Crying Wolf in Act 4. Had I know about a little trick in Act 3, I would've been under three and a half hours. Still, I'm pretty proud of that effort and the amount of celebratory fist-pumping is legendary.

Supreme theme for this month, I like it. Now that I think of it in the beginning of my PS2 times had a little bit of challenge. After changing from PC to controller, I felt a litte uneasy. So I tried the hardest games i could find to overcome my weakness.
The Castlevani: Lament of Innocence is a one of the kind game for me. Stage after stage I fought with the heretics, demons and unclean beasts with my trustworthy magic whip (still like the thinking). But than, the devilish vampire lord, named Walter, stood before me and killed me 100 times in a row. I'm not kidding, started fighting him at midnight and when the fight between us concluded the sun rose up outside. I mastered every move of his attacks, the range, the damage it takes and I was victorius without a scar. I felt like Charles Bronson and Sonny Chiba together after a night long vendetta...but it wasn't over... (well, if there is a chance, I will continue under the soon coming video)

The Warriors game comes to mind. The near a wall context sensitive attack is particularly brutal that includes some face smashing. :D
