Anarchy Reigns Japanese Demo Single Player Impressions

I’ve finally gotten my greedy little mits on that ever so sweet Anarchy Reigns Japanese demo I was talking about earlier. Quick note: if your wondering how get through the Japanese sub menus, there’s a little trick I show at the first of the video that will allow you to change all the menus to English for easy navigation. Now I wanted to savor the moment, so I decided to start off slow with the single player missions. You’ve got your choice between Mad World veteran Jack and newcomer Leo. Because Jack and I go way back, I went with my tried and true boy in black.

So far I’m enjoying the game. It’s got a bit of a learning curve but it’s not too steep or technical. I felt comfortable with the controls in about fifteen minutes. The gameplay feels very reminiscent of Mad World (sans the needless motion controls). Best of all you can switch the language to English! For my full thoughts on the demo and too see for yourself, check out the video of Jack’s single player campaign against the Blacker Baron below. Come back tomorrow when I take a look at the multiplayer modes. If you thought this gets crazy, a four on four team battle death match certainly ratchets up the insanity.

BTW: Am I the only one that found the voice of Blacker Baron to be a bit, shall we say, racist?
