I actually knew this was coming, but wasn’t going to say anything till an official press statement was released. Well, it happened so here we go.. G4 is killing off it’s gaming programming.. and the network informed it’s employees earlier in a meeting today.

Preorders for U.S. Release of Gamecenter CX Starts
Earlier this week DVD company Eastern Star announced that American translation of the amazing Japanese television show Gamecenter CX is finally available to preorder.
The show (titled Retro Game Master in America), follows famous comedian Shinya Arino as he takes on classic games in hopes of finishing them (usually in one 12 hour block) and delivering the ending to the viewers. Arino, along with an eclectic group of staff members stumble their way through some of the toughest and iconic games, and have been for the better part of the last decade.

Don Herdzfeldt. Today we will be focusing on some of his earlier works Rejected and The Animation Show. Hump Day Cartoons: Crack the Code

Today we will be taking a look at two very different short films. The first is a look into the secret world of the the Thomas Beale Cipher from Andrew Allen and his team. This short sees a marriage of many different animation styles, and is a must see for sure. See if you can spot the hidden clues and crack the code! Second we have a fun cg animation about how hard it can be to get up in the morning entitled Alarm from the team MESAI in South Korea.
