First 4 Figures Preps Surprising Worms Diorama

Collectable figure maker First 4 Figures have recently debuted their latest homage to gaming with a surprising tribute to the game franchise Worms. Specifically, this statue looks to take the cover of Worms Reloaded and recreate every detail in a stunning 10″ x 10″ diorama.

For the better part of a decade, First 4 Figures have been creating remarkable hand painted statues of many of gaming’s iconic characters. With a tendency to stick mainly to Nintendo and Sonic franchises, the decision to pay tribute to Team 17′s flagship series is a welcome surprise. The figure is limited to a quantity of 1995 (which happens to be the year the first Worms came out :D ), and as per usual will also have a companion limited edition version seeing just over 400 units. The limited edition version appears to come with an interchangeable banana bomb, although the idea of firing one of those off at such close range is truly chilling.

Reservations can be made over at the First 4 Figures main page, and they are asking $199 and $219 respectively. While these prices may seem steep, many of their previous figures have seen incredible markups on the second hand market (as high as $700+), so it would be best to decide as soon as you can. For now, lets take a look at some my personal favorites from the many other figures they’ve created.
