New anime from creator of Akira

The creator of AKIRA, Katsuhiro Otomo has announced that he is planning a new Manga series for Shonen Jump. His work as of late has been reserved for collaborations and short projects making this the first large project he has worked on in nearly 2 decades

Very little is known right now outside the story taking place in what is known as Japan’s Meiji period which took place during the late 1800′s early 1900′s and represents a time in Japan of major governmental and social change.
