LEDock Gives Your iPhone a Bionic Arm and LED Lights! [UPDATE]

Have you ever found yourself frustrated as you were taking photos with your iPhone and thought, “Gee, I wish my arm could mechanically lock into any position while an array of LED lights emerged from wrist to provide perfect ring lighting”? First, that’s odd and a tad disturbing. Second, your hair-brained dream may soon become a reality.

LEDock™ is just that, a positionable and rotatable iPhone dock that features shadow-free LED ring lighting. It allows the user to shoot video/photos from any angle in both landscape and vertical positions. If you’re an iPhone junkie with an itch for photography, this may be the gadget for you.

At the moment the group has started a Kickstarter project aimed at funding this endevour. If you’re interested, check out their Kickstarter page for more details.

UPDATE: Seems the project has been cancelled due to a lack of funding. Sad to see as this was an interesting idea to say the least. We’ll be following this story and will posts updates as they come.
