Microsoft Confirms the NEW X-Box.. by mistake

Next Xbox System

We’ve all been expecting the next generation of systems. Hell.. we were expecting them at E3, but there was no sight of them WHATSOEVER. However today during a podcast, Brian Hall, the General Manager of Windows Live accidentally leaked that the new X-Box was in development. He had this to say during the podcast.

We’ve had Hotmail and operated Hotmail for about 16 years, we obviously have Exchange, and Outlook, that people use at work. We just decided it was time to do something new and bring the best from each of those and put them together and release it right in time for the new wave of products that we could have coming out with Windows 8, with the new version of Office with the new Windows phone and the new Xbox.

About damn time Microsoft.. about damn time. I remember earlier on in the year, the internet had seen documentation that was the alleged outline of Microsoft‘s plans for its next-generation Xbox. The details were of a revised variation of the Kinect (oh boy..) and Virtual Reality technology. I’m hoping this isn’t the design because I’m not fond of VR, I don’t like the kinect, and the outline for software was 100% Cloud Storage for saves and games. Guess we’ll have to stay on the ball for this one and hope for the best….
