When I was growing up in the late 80′s and 90′s, my priortities in life were quite simple, video games and Saturday morning cartoons. Along with the usual cast of favorties is one of my all-time favorites: X-Men! I can still remember hearing Wolverine and freaking out because the guy had a voice that sounded like the perfect Wolverine. In the past few years, retro shows have been coming out of the woodworks and getting a DVD treatment, but through all of it, no X-Men. Sure, we’ve gotten a few isolated episodes here and there, or some bootleg copy of the series, but no offical release. Nearly 17 years later and we are finally getting the first real DVD release of the show on Tuesday April the 28th, 2009!
Two volumes will be released tomorrow for a total of 33 episodes. Even better, Best Buy is running a special. You can get both volumes for $35 instead of $20 separately. Yea it’s just $5, but it’s better then an antimantium claw to the junk. Follow the link for more details:
